Error in the introductory sentence

[edit]

In the very first sentence it says that the Boston Massacre happened on the 5th of May, even though it was March. The date is correct in the rest of the article as far as I can tell, but it is very misleading to have that error in the lead sentence (especially since this blurb is the first search result on Google). Please fix this problem (since this is a semi.protected article, I can't do it myself). 2A02:3102:9714:9C0:A9FE:26BC:FCA4:419B (talk) 17:44, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. checkY It was a transcription error during a copyedit by Keystone18 (talk · contribs) during a copyedit a few days ago, so it wasn't misleading for long. I've made similar errors in the past. Seasider53 (talk) 18:47, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for catching and fixing. Keystone18 (talk) 18:49, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
